Chapter Recruitment

Formal Recruitment at Virginia Tech takes place during the Spring Semester in January. Kappa Kappa Gamma seeks to recruit women who will help fulfill our mission statement emphasizing strong bonds of friendship, mutual support, opportunities for self-growth, respect for intellectual development, and an understanding of and an allegiance to positive ethical principles.

Since Kappa Kappa Gamma’s founding at Virginia Tech in 1985, the chapter has sought to uphold the ideals and values created by the founding members. Kappa strives for excellence in every part of the college experience, especially in academic, philanthropic, and social endeavors. Kappa at Virginia Tech has been recognized locally and nationally for its achievement in numerous areas.
